DESCRIPTION:

Situated on a narrow site, the house rests on a plinth interconnected with the sloping terrain. The six-bedroom layout is organized around the main living space that extends seamlessly to the outdoor covered terrace and pool. The living space also extends vertically as a double-height atrium giving the compact massing a spaciousness that belies the efficient layout and also functions as a thermal chimney that enhances cross-ventilation and passive cooling.

A restrained material palate of smooth white stucco, coral stone and porcelain flooring, and locally harvested Nicaraguan walnut provide a minimalistic backdrop to accentuate the dramatic ocean views.
