DESCRIPTION:

Nestled along the picturesque southern Nicaraguan coastline, this exceptional beachfront property stands as a harmonious marriage of design and nature. Perched on a gently sloped terrain overlooking the bay, the house's architectural concept embraces the land's natural contours, ensuring it appears as an organic extension of the environment, rather than an imposition on the site.

The house's main level, elevated about 35 feet from the beach, appears to emerge naturally from the landscape. Its design revolves around a slender, locally-inspired cumaru wood-clad roof that gracefully projects towards the Pacific Ocean to the west. This design feature not only captures awe-inspiring ocean views but also provides passive shading for the expansive outdoor terrace, making it an integral part of the dwelling. Large sliding glass doors seamlessly unite the terrace with the open living area, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.

Inside, the living room is bathed in soft, diffused daylight, thanks to a higher roof plane adorned with clerestory windows. The layout ensures maximum cross-ventilation, enhancing comfort in the tropical climate. The house's intelligent placement, with three bedrooms on the main level and guest quarters below, seamlessly integrates with the sloping terrain. A private staircase offers direct access to the pristine beachfront, further solidifying its role as a natural outcropping in this coastal paradise.
